What is the AgentMaX Hackathon?

A hackathon is an event where programmers collaborate intensively on software projects within a limited timeframe.

Who can participate?

AI Enthusiasts, AI researchers, Startup founders, Growth Hackers, Developers, Students, Enterprise professionals, and GCC teams. Beginners and experts alike are welcome.

Do I need prior AI/ML experience?

No. You can learn on the fly, upskill using any online tutorials, use any open source resources to crack the challenge. Enthusiasm and problem-solving mindset matter most.

How do I register?

Sign up via our official event page. Teams can have max of 4 members

Is there a participation fee?

Yes, registration fees is 5000 INR per team

Can I join if I’m outside India?

Yes, it’s a hybrid hackathon - both online and offline participation is allowed.

What’s the timeline?
  • Registrations & Orientation: Registration closes on Oct 4th

  • Keynote, Orientation & challenge Release: Oct 5th

  • Kick Off and Build: Oct 6th - Oct 10th

  • Coding, UI & Presentation: Oct 11th - Oct 25th

  • Deadline for final submissions: Oct 26th

  • Jury Demos & Awards: Oct 31st

What’s the judging criteria?

What kind of problems will be given?

Enterprise-grade GCC problem- automating reporting, intelligent procurement, AI copilots for HR, supply chain optimisation, customer service voicebots, etc.

Will datasets/tools be provided?

No. You can use online sample datasets or synthetic data, APIs, and any cloud deployments can be done. You can also bring your own relevant datasets.

What if I face technical issues during submission?

We’ll provide a support desk & Discord channel for real-time assistance.

What do teams need to submit?
  • Working prototype / agent workflow

  • GitHub repo link (code + readme)

  • 8 min - Short deck explaining problem, solution, architecture, and impact with demo

What prizes are there?

Category wise awards would be presented on the event day on Oct 31st at Radission Blu, Marathahalli

Who are the judges/mentors?

Industry AI leaders, GCC innovation heads, startup founders, and domain experts.

Where is the hackathon hosted?

Hybrid format: virtual participation via event platform and physical venue for the shortlisted teams get to present their projects

How do I register?

Sign up via our official event page. Teams can have max of 4 members

What languages/tools can I use?

Any, but we encourage using modern AI frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, vector DBs, etc.) and prefer to use VSCode for Python development and React for front-end, but not restricted to these

Will mentorship be available?

Yes. There will be office hours, checkpoints, and 1:1 mentor sessions throughout the hackathon.

Can teams submit their own challenges?

No, we assign the teams real-world problem statements before the hack starts
